Logisticus recently wrapped a short-term delivery project for our customer in Oklahoma. The scope involved the transport of wind components from a nearby lay-down location to their final destination (a wind project site).

Highlights ⇢
  • We moved 30 complete GE2.82MW turbines. (Watch a video of installation of one of these turbines here.)
  • Our team deployed a complete turbine set of tractors/trailers equipped with our GPS – a highlight of our proprietary system, Logisticus Technology Solutions – for tracking.

  • Custom geofences were added providing an alert upon 1. exit at origin and 2. entry at project site – giving further visibility to the site team.
  • Our team and the site crews persevered through challenging road conditions and worked weekends to offset wind + weather days to get all turbine components delivered as quickly as possible.
