JEREMY JOHNSON
Field Operative
“I’m here to serve the customer in all matters safety- and logistics-related per my scope of work. I’m also here to be the best ambassador for Logisticus Group I can be!
“I chose this professional path because I absolutely love working in the renewable energy sector, which I’ve worked in for the last 3 years. I enjoy serving this industry, as well as the people that are a part of it. This skilled trade is the future. I’m proud to serve essential personnel and provide them with everything I can possibly offer. Figuring out how we can best use the natural elements to support our everyday lives is one of the most intriguing processes I think you can be a part of. It’s fascinated me since I was a child. This is a career that my family and I can be proud of. I have a beautiful wife named Emily and 2 sons named Clayton (14), and Kaleb (8).”
“I’m looking at the long-term, and the path that Logisticus has proven to be successful on fits my long-term goals. Eventually, I’d like to make my way back to HQ and potentially move into a project/personnel manager-type role where I could assist future F.O.s develop in their own roles. I’d like to pass on the knowledge gained from being an F.O. myself, which requires being able to see issues from multiple aspects – all sides of the ball – then being most efficient as a result.
FUN FACT / / “I served in the US Army for a little under 14 years. I suppose one of the most interesting things about me is that I played tournament paintball for about 10 years and traveled the country winning money and competing with some of the most skilled players in the country.”
JOEY WOOTEN
Logistics Planning Specialist
“I’m here to support the Government Affairs and Planning team through on-site surveying and identifying routes for the safe transportation of wind turbine segments, transformers, etc.
“To me, the opportunity to work at a small, fast-growing company implies that communication and the flow of ideas are welcome and essential, which is why Logisticus stood out to me.
“I’m excited to learn as much as possible both professionally and personally while here, and to use my role to support the renewable energy sector. This is a new career path for me, as I studied Environmental Science at the University of South Carolina and worked as a chemist right out of school. I knew some of the skills I learned in the lab wouldn’t necessarily translate cleanly into this role, but this path is engaging and highly dynamic and allows me to travel.”
FUN FACT / / “I worked at a cheese shop in college. The history and tradition of cheesemaking is something I hadn’t thought of before and is actually quite fascinating.”
JENNIFER DOW
Office Administrator
“I have a background in both education and office administrative duties. For the past seven years, I worked for the public school system. As my children have gotten older, I decided it was the right time to switch gears and enter into the corporate world.”
“Now I directly support both the Human Resource Director and Business Operations Manager here at Logisticus Group. I also maintain the office through organization of operations and procedures and prepare payroll. I enjoy the fast-paced nature of Logisticus. Tasks are always changing and evolving, and I appreciate that. My goal is to provide efficient and professional service to all of my colleagues and supervisors. If I am doing my job well, then I am making every other employee’s job a little easier.
FUN FACT / / “I have 3 boys between the ages of 12-17, and they – along with all of their activities – keep most of my time outside of work pretty full!”
KEVIN SIMONEAUX
Engineering Specialist
“I heard about Logisticus through another employee here, who I used to work with at a land development firm. She really seemed to love the company, so I was very interested when I found out there was an opening!
“My role is to help ensure trucks with large payloads can make it to their destination and design any roadway changes that need to take place to make that happen. I also employ creative storage solutions for clients to minimize cost while maximizing efficiency
“I chose to come onboard with Logisticus because all of our renewable energy work ties my background in land development and engineering together with my passion for sustainability. I hope to continue the spread of renewable energy sources and help reduce the planets carbon footprint in my time working here at Logisticus as well as utilizing new technology in exciting ways to help expand our business and efficiency.
“While my background is in land development, this is a partially new career path – I do use a lot of the skills I have developed from previous jobs, but at the same time same time, I’m learning about the energy sector, logistics, and moving HUGE equipment in interesting and challenging ways!
FUN FACT / / “I have a huge passion for the outdoors so you can often find me rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, whitewater kayaking, or anything else that gets me outside and enjoying nature!”
KYLER VITKO

As of right now, I’m still learning the ropes – but I hope to grow with the company and eventually be able to make an impact on the future and development of the organization. This is a new career path for me, and I chose this path because I’m interested in renewable energy and being involved in large scale project management.”

I am experienced in logistics and safety, but I choose this particular professional path to get more experience and knowledge with project management and from being in the field.”

BRIAN TRIMBLE

“I’m not entirely sure yet, as it’s still too early to tell, but I’d like to utilize some of my existing knowledge and experience from the construction side of things to potentially improve upon the ways things are approached or executed now. I like to make things better than they were when I found them.
