The team is moving to a new office!
The team knew it was ready for another move about one year ago, but the decision was ultimately made when the partners noticed that the flow of information and discussion slowed slightly. Logisticus values creating an environment where ‘water cooler’ talk is encouraged, so the new space allowed for more opportunities in this area and that’s how we made the jump.
We sat down with some of the partners to learn some behind-the-scenes of that decision-making process.
How did the team decide where to move the HQ? We looked at several locations and knew for a fact that we wanted to be in downtown Greenville, SC. We really needed a new home that had room for future staff growth, which was a large factor in our decision.
Can you tell us a little more about the site (space, size, etc.)? The location will house our technology company and our logistics company. The location will have flex space for employees on a ‘flex schedule’, over 15 offices and room for over 80 staff. The location is roughly 18,000 sq ft, three stories and ample parking and the building is located at the entry of downtown Greenville, SC.
Does this mean more hires? This new location will allow us to grow our staff in Greenville. We expect this building will allow our company to grow by 300%, the expected growth over the next 5 years.
We’re staying close and moving to E North St in Greenville, where we can adapt to our rapid growth in the past year. Here’s to new beginnings and keeping our roots.
