MEET THE STAFF
This month’s staff introduction features Dave Carroll, one of our newest team members and Project Manager. When Dave was ready to leave his active-duty Army role, he knew he wanted to move back home, which is when he found an opening on our team. With two kids under 2, Dave spends a lot of his time outside work with his family, but in the future, he’s looking forward to making mead via beehives. Yes – you read that right!
You can learn more about Dave in our full interview below.
Why choose Logisticus to work? //I recently left active-duty Army and wanted to move my family back home to Greenville. I was talking to a friend about my plans, and he knew of a project manager position opening at Logisticus and felt that I would be a great fit.
What are you hoping to accomplish at Logisticus? // I want to further my knowledge in the industry. I have really enjoyed the unique opportunities that have come already and look forward to many more.
What’s your favorite thing about working at Logisticus? // Other than everyone here, my favorite thing is that I feel valued and love the ever-changing challenges that each day provides.
What is something interesting about you/something interesting you do outside of work? // Right now, I invest all my free time into my kids – they are my world. As I get settled in Greenville, I am interested in having beehives with the end state of making mead. It will take place over the next couple years.
Do you have a favorite sports team? If so, what sport and team? // I don’t claim a team, but I look forward to the upcoming Greenville Swamp Rabbit Hockey season.
Who is your favorite music band? // My music selection is all over the place. I would say that Charley Crockett is one my top choices.
What’s your favorite TV show? // I don’t necessarily have a favorite, but I really enjoy watching reality TV with my wife.
Do you have a hobby? If so, what is it? // I would say right now that I have multiple hobbies, but my personal time is limited because I have two kids under 2. I am currently planting a large field with wildflowers and adding onto a large garden at my friend’s house. We are going to put several beehives on the property.
What’s your favorite food? // I enjoy visiting my family in Beaufort, SC where we go fishing, shrimping, and harvesting oysters and clams. They make the best shrimps and grits I have ever had.
After learning this information, we look forward to seeing what Dave can do – both at Logisticus and outside with his beehives!
More to come next month about our amazing staff. Stay tuned!
